Claudia's Adventures: Dublin

Hello there!

I know, I'm late. I've been very busy with a special journey. I mean, do you remember when I told you I got third on a scale of fifteen people in a competition? Of course you don't, it's been a month I told you that.
Anyway, I've been in Dublin for a month and it has been an amazing experience. That's what I wanted to tell you on the 18th of September because that was the day I would have left.

I'm so sorry I didn't post anything, but I've been so busy packing things up.

Will you ever forgive me?

I think you won't, to be honest. It is not the first time that it happens, but I hope you will anyway.

Since I don't have a special topic to talk about today, I decided to tell you about my 'adventures' in Dublin. I'll try not to make you bored, promise.

It all started on the 19th of September.
We arrived in Dublin at 2am or so and we went straight to bed because we had to wake up at 6am, since we had to go to school.
School is evil. I don't even know how some people think it is 'funland'.
Like seriously? Where is this fun you are talking about?

                                              Barely breathing...

But let's get back to the main topic... The people I've traveled with were amazing, I'm so glad I met them and ,even though some of them got me angry a couple of times, it doesn't really matter because those three weeks in Ireland have been fantastic. Believe me, no one wanted to come home, except our teachers.

I'm so glad about this experience, because I met new people and I got to know some others in a better way. Even school was fantastic! And you guys, know how much I hate school.
Our teacher was a beautiful person, he was very friendly and a very good teacher. None of us wanted to leave him, we actually wanted to sign a petition so we could take him with us hahahaha

We went to school five days a week, from 9am to 1:20pm and we used to eat there. There was a canteen where all the students used to eat and so did our group. We usually finished eating at 2pm and then we usually went sightseeing or visiting some museums or we usually went shopping.

On Saturdays and Sundays we used to go to different places near Dublin or even four hours away from the city. Those were tiring days but I enjoyed them anyway.

This is me and my friend in Belfast at the Titanic museum.

So we actually went to Belfast on the first Saturday and we arrived there at about 10am. We went to the Titanic Museum which is a huge building. The inside was amazing, I loved this museum a lot.
We haven't stayed there for long because the bus driver was late for a meeting with some friends and he spent the whole day telling us to hurry up.
I wish I spent more time in Belfast, because it seem a beautiful city. We only had half an hour free time and then we went back to Dublin.

"As the smart ship grew
 In stature, grace, and hue,
In shadowy silent distance
grew the Iceberg too."
by Thomas Hardy

We also went to Galway, which is a very nice town. We stayed there the whole day. I actually enjoyed the time we spent there, because we went shopping and we even went to the beach. The water was fantastic!

I only drink on days beginning with 'T'...
Tuesday
Thursday
Today
Tomorrow
Thaturday
Thunday

We went to Powerscourt Estate in which there were italian gardens, japanese gardens and many other things. A really nice place.

We went to Glendalough, a place where you can reach the largest lakes in Ireland and there is also an old cemetery. A little bit creepy, but the lakes were amazing.

We also visited a lighthouse, but it wasn't one of the best days ever to be honest. Furthermore, the same day some people stole our lunch so we didn't eat but at least I took some good photos...

We went to many places and I took a lot of beautiful photos and I enjoyed every moment. I really miss Dublin and the beautiful people I met there.

Anyway, you might be wondering if I did something awkward while I was there. Well, you know me.

1. I accidentally throw my ID card at the man who checked the passports at the airport. I thought he would have yelled at me, but he actually started laughing.
2. I bumped into many people when we went sightseeing.
3. I talked to a woman thinking she spoke English but after half an hour I found out she didn't understand a word I said. So embarassing.

It was a wonderful experience, I hope I will go back there one day. It would be fantastic.

So it's all for today. I promise you will see me next week!

A Little Review Of What Happened

Hello there!
I'm sorry, I've been busy with school and I had to do lots of things.
I hope you will.
Anyway, I'm here with a resume of what actually happened in the past days.

Valentine's Day happened.
As a good and sweet girl I am I wanted to bake some cookies and bring them to my classmates to show them I actually don' hate them all. -I said not them all which means I actually can't stand some of them!-
But, you know nothing happens without a bad consequence. My beautiful and lovely dog, Milo, ate all the cookies before I could even taste them and get to know if they were good or not.
I got so angry with him, I've spent the whole afternoon baking and then he ate the cookies. Leaving me NOTHING to eat.
And when I don't eat at least one cookie I get angry. Badly.
This is what actually happened to me that day. Kind of boring, I know, but I didn't have a Valentine and then
I decided to make cookies -which is the answer of your saddest moments-

I went to London again and it was AMAZING. This time I was with my brother and my mom. I had so much fun I wasn't really happy to come back home. I was pretty depressed the day we came back here. I wasn't the only one though -my brother was sad too.-
Whatever. I finally ate a cupcake! It was delicious. I also ate a ginger biscuit and an amazing strawberry cheesecake. I LOVE sweets and stuff like that, even if I don't eat them often.
The first day I had an English breakfast and to be honest the only thing I liked of it was the bacon and the egg. I found it kind of weird having that stuff as my breakfast because I use to drink a cappuccino and eat some cereals with it and it's my usual breakfast. So when I had that breakfast I was pretty shocked and even if I didn't like some of the things in my dish I ate all of them.
We actually went there because of my mom's birthday and we stayed there for like three days or so. We went around town and my brother took me to King Cross St. Pancras where there is the famous platform 9/4 from the movie Harry Potter. I actually loved Harry Potter so my brother took me there.
The very next day we came back home I had to go to school so I let you imagine how happy I was to study after a three hour long flight.
TAKE ME BACK TO LONDON PLEASE I'M ALREADY TIRED OF STAYING HERE!

London from the plane.
Beautiful uh?
I'm full of things to do, homework and stuff like that. I have to study every single day because every day I have a different test. Tomorrow is the only day I don't have nothing planned on my schedule, in fact I'm writing the post instead of studying because I don't have homework to do.
I hate school so much. Why can't I attend online classes?

Anyway, my French teacher signed my classmates and me for a co

ntest. We have to make a poster based on the environment. We are currently working on it but I can assure you we got an amazing and original idea.

I'm proud of us.

A little reminder of my feelings for school and things related to it.
So, here it is the post. It's nothing special, I know. I'll try my best to make the next one even better than this one. Hard to believe in but I'm actually writing it already because it's a special post!

See ya!

Mixed Stuff

Hi there!
How're you?
Hope you're all fine!

What about me?
Well, I'm pretty busy with school stuff and it's not funny. It's tiring as well.
Tomorrow will start the third week of this school year and I've already lots of things to do: stories in Spanish, tests in French, I have to read a book and it's all about my Italian teachers and I've to do lots of Maths exercises.

WHY DO YOU GIVE US SO MANY THINGS TO DO!?
IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING!
I MEAN, IF I START LIKE THIS (stressed, tired etc.) I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW I'LL BE NEXT APRIL.

I'll be probably dead because of school.

In the past week I had to do three 'special' homework.
The first one was an Italian homework.
"Describe what a Journey means to you". At first I thought I had to describe my idea of travel.. or something like that. Then I decided to talk about life. Yes, life.
I decided to talk about it because life is a journey. Life is a trip you have to do and it's full of bad and good things. During this journey you'll surely do lots of mistakes but, you know what?, it doesn't matter. Mistakes make you go on, with them you learn how to go on. They're important to this trip.
If you don't make any mistake, well, you can be lying. Nobody's perfect.

The second thing I had to do was "What's Philosophy".
Okay, it might not sound like a special thing, but it was. I had to write what I thought about Philosophy and it was like the resume of what my teacher said, but I added something.
"We use a lot Philosophy, because it means "to think". So we do philosophize.". Something like that.    Quite confusing.
And yes, philosophy really means 'to think'. So we really use it a lot.
Socrates said "If you don't philosophize, then you're not human". -I'm turning to a wise and intelligent girl. NAH.-
Socrates was right. Thinking is what makes us different between the other animals. We do think, we can't do anything to stop it.

The last one was a Spanish homework.
"Create a story looking at these pics". There was three pictures and I had to create a story about them. I don't know how I did it, but I wrote a one page longer story. It's not very long as well, but I'm sure my classmates wrote a smaller story -or maybe they didn't do that-
I don't care about what the others do, I just like what I wrote -pretty weird, I usually don't like ANYTHING I write-.

Have you seen the picture? Well, I'm always like that during the week. It's sad.
Let's talk about other things. Well, I watched lots of movies during this week. It was a sort of a homework. But it was funny and interesting.

I spent my free time watching TV, writing and drawing stuff. Nothing exciting. I also got a WeHeartIt flu.

I mean, I spent most of my time on WeHeartIt -if you don't know it, it's a website/app full of beautiful pics- and I saved lots of photos on my IPod.

Lots of them are particularly funny like this one:

I laughed a lot when I saw it for the first time!

I don't have any other things to say.

It's everyday the same thing. I don't have any news for you guys. So sorry!

Question of the day: How do you feel when your teachers give you loads of homework?

Hope you liked this post as much as the others!

Thanks for reading what I write, it means a lot!

Memories Of My Journeys.

Hi there!
I'm back with another post here in this blog :)
First of all I want to thank you because you're reading this lol

SO THANK YOU GUYS *tears rolling down her face*

Okay, I'm not crying at all.

Well, today I'm going to talk about my past journeys!

YUPPYYYY

I've been travelling since I was a baby. I've always loved to travel, in fact I'd like to find a job where you have to travel. It'd be amazing!

I decided to talk about my journeys because I found some pictures and I got this idea!

As I told you I've been travelling since I was a baby -since I was three.-
The first time I went abroad I was three and I went to the UK with my parents. It was a school trip and they were the responsible teachers of the group but they decided to bring me with them.
Even if I was soooo young I still remember something about that.

After that journey I've been to Croatia with my mother and my brother. It was a beautiful experience but I don't remember it that much. And it's not good because when I see the pictures we took I always think "WHY DON'T I REMEMBER ANYTHING?"

                                                           It's horrible!

Maybe I have to talk about my trip to London. Well, it was the last summer and my mother decided to give me a special gift and she did! We went to London and it was the best birthday ever! I've loved those days and I'd like to come back there!

I've been in other places during the past five years. But I haven't been abroad after London - well, I've been to Spain last year- I've just been in lots of places here in Italy.

I've been to Rome two years ago. I went there for Christmas and it was amazing!
I've spent one of the most beautiful Christmas ever with my mother's relatives in Rome.
But we've also visited the city  -even if we did it in two days- and we've seen the most important places and monuments of the city. We had lot of fun.

And believe me when I say Rome is beautiful!

I've been to the east coast - talking about Sicily haha- and it was a beautiful experience too but it was too tiring. It was a school trip many parts were boring, but it doesn't matter because I had lot of fun and it was fantastic!

Okay, let's talk about the latest one. In the past April I've been to Spain with the school. ESPAÑA
It was an amazing experience. But it  has had its downsides.
As I told you in the past posts I'm particularly attractive for bad luck. In fact one of the downsides of that journey was .. losing my baggage.
Yeah, they forgot to embark it and I've been for a week without my clothes and other stuff.
Luckily I've had the possibilities to buy what I needed and I've been good even if I haven't had my own stuff.

Happy endings exist!
Maybe not.
It wasn't the perfect journey ever, but I liked it! It was funny and even if I've fallen out with some friends - who are not my friends anymore because of many reasons- I've learnt lots of things during that week.
And the accompany teachers were soooooo nice and friendly and funny I've had the best week of this year.
They also helped me so much in that week because of my lost baggage and for other reasons. So, if you are reading this..
                                            THANK YOU :)

Question of the day: What was your favorite journey?

Well, that's it!
Hope you liked it!

If you want to reply to my questions you can do that on twitter using this hashtag: #claudiasdiaries :)
